EED 435 Week 4 Dance, Movement, and Music Lesson Plan Template

Complete the Lesson Plan Template. (Notice that the template has a drama lesson plan example included for reference purposes).

Include the components of a lesson plan integrating dance, movement, music. For this assignment, you are to design a lesson plan in any subject (math, science, social studies, etc.) and integrate dance, movement, music into that lesson. The lesson plan is not to be a dance, movement, music focused lesson plan.

Include the state standards for art and elementary curriculum being addressed.

Use the information in the template to develop a mini-lesson based on any component of the lesson plan template. Your mini-lesson should include a strategy from Ch. 11 or 13. The mini lesson is above and beyond the template. The mini lesson should be a separate/additional document from the template. The template alone will not complete this assignment. Be sure to clearly identify the mini lesson as such and what strategy from the reading is being used in the mini lesson.
