Research youth mentoring programs in your area.

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words: 

• What is the mission or vision of the mentoring program(s) you researched?

• How does the mentoring program(s) benefit children’s academic, physical, and emotional well-being, especially youth who come from diverse ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds?

• How can the mentoring program(s) help children learn and develop a positive self-concept?

• How does this topic link to the College’s Conceptual Framework and the framework’s philosophical relationship to effective teacher preparation?
