As a teacher the students, families and community will consider you a role model and the many advances in technology have definitely increased the ways in which teachers are expected to be role models. In what ways has modern technology, including social media, e-mails, Internet, cell phones, and instant messaging, affected the level of appropriate communication between teachers and students? What guidelines for such use might you recommend? Explain and provide specific examples to support your response.
